“THE INVENTION OF AMERICA”

The idea of a “discovery and conquest” of the Abya Yala or territory known in the Western world as “America” has been constructed for centuries. In this session, we will review these assumptions and question this historical process and it’s consequences in today’s world, such as anti-black and anti-indigenous racism.
